Your Menu Starts With a Conversation

We don’t share example menus on our website because it’s far too easy, and far too boring. Your day isn’t something to pick from a list — it’s something we create with you.

At Fennel & Clove, we believe your menu should feel personal to the two of you. Your wedding is the start of your married life together and it deserves good honest food enjoyed with your closest dearest people.

STEP 1

Lets Talk

We prefer to chat so we can get to know you and find out the foods you really enjoy. 

Where do you both love to go? What dishes feel like “you”? Your families, your journeys, and your future together all help us understand what your wedding day should feel like.

A good conversation tells us so much, enough for us to shape a menu that suits you perfectly. From the start, we want to know your story and what you truly want your day to look like.

STEP 2

Bespoke to Requirement

Every menu we create is unique. A few favourites appear from time to time, but no two menus are ever the same. Your menu is designed just for you.

We care about how it looks, how it tastes, and how it is served — from the first call to the last plate on your wedding day.

We’ll ask all the details, including your “no-go” foods, so your menu is exactly what you want.

STEP 3

Menu to Chef

Your first call goes straight to Chef Michael, who will sketch out a menu full of seasonal ideas and local produce.
We keep pricing simple and transparent. Everything is itemised so you always know what you’re paying for.

You can choose from sharing boards, big bowls, plated dishes for a more refined celebration, or a mix of both. Add in two-bite canapés and a big, satisfying main, and you have a menu that fits your day beautifully and makes good use of your precious wedding time.

Your selected menu will be costed per head, with each item clearly reflected in the pricing.

STEP 4

Costing, Equipment and Staffing

We’ll coordinate with your venue to organise all the equipment needed for your catering.

Any hire costs are priced separately, and setup and staffing are calculated based on what the venue provides and how the space is laid out.

STEP 5

Meeting You at Your Tasting Experience

To secure your date, we ask for a £1,500 deposit once your menu and costs are agreed.

Your menu remains flexible until the six-week point.

We’ll invite you to a tasting where we review your menu together, fine-tuning flavours, presentation and textures so everything is exactly as you imagined. Tastings help us get it right and leave you feeling confident and excited for your big day.

STEP 6

Collating Your Information

At the six-week stage, we’ll need all final details, including guest numbers, children attending, and dietary requirements. We offer flexible options for intolerances and make subtle adjustments where needed, adding vegetarian and vegan dishes that stand on their own.

This is also when we go over your timeline, table plan and the final balance. Every detail matters to us.

We work closely with your venue and their team to make sure the right information is shared.

We’ll be on-site beforehand to set up, and we’ll be there on the day to ensure your catering is delivered exactly as promised with calm, organised wedding-day support. From start to finish, we care about every part of your wedding.
